Honestly that segment with uncle howdey and bo Dallas actually did a lot because most people remember him as Bo Dallas and boleaving that segment did so much more for him because if you look at it that was a make or break kind of segment either he knocks it out of the park and it keeps both his brother and his vision of what they had in mind alive or it could have very well been in the opposite direction and looked at as a bad imitation of a beloved wrestler and a brother taking advantage of that which wouldn’t have been a good look either but it went very very well in my mind and they did it good and did it justice!

Ric Flair. Man did his part in the business and bled buckets week in, week out to prove it for a 50 year career. Not only did he go through a very drastic body change when he started in the 1960s and slimmed down immensely, he's won multiple championships in NWA / Mid Atlantic, WWE, is a Royal Rumble winner and is one of the many to have his own bronze statue. He made the fans want to watch in Mid Atlantic (fans went nuts for the guy), he was a massive draw in WCW and WWE not just as a solo competitor but alongside The Four Horseman as one of their most notable members alongside the Horseman turning on Dusty Rhodes breaking and breaking his ankle for an unexpected twist and was a sensation wherever he went because they knew who he was and what he could do. He had the micwork for sure, the catchphrases, the fans absolutely love Flair even though he can stir some issues now, that's bound to happen; we all do stupid stuff and pay for it. Flair made people watch the product, not Hulk Hogan; he only boosted it but was piggybacking off of a lot of talent. Flair is blessed to have this because multiple times he was on the verge of death and pulled through (most notably, the plane crash in 1975). But, when Flair does truly pass away, I doubt anyone can take the title of "Best of All Time." There can be "Best of The Year" and you can be one of the "Best Champions / Superstars of All Time" but Flair is and will always be that guy to me. All these guys can walk around with their championships and diamond rings and claim their the best, but they're not even close to Flair's legacy, that man is "The True Best of All Time" period.

In 2024 after all the CTE studies I'm not sure even special occasions where the violence is needed and the "shock" of an unprotected chairshot is pallettable. It could be because of watching wrestling during the attitude era where they were common place or it could be that I always found them kinda cringey. I would rather see any element of a Death Match than seeing a chairshot. It could be seeing Mick Foley taking eleven headshots from The Rock. It was and still is hard to watch without it turning your stomach.
